Welcome to Flash Bang: Action Cinema Review. Our aim here is to provide balanced Movie Reviews in our favourite genre. We believe that an action movie should provide the viewer entertainment and escapism first and foremost. Not many of the movies featured on this site are destined to win any awards, but they will certainly entertain you! Here you will find over 300 reviews (and counting) of the latest genre movies to hit DVD/Blu Ray.

2011 marks our third year online, and is looking to be an excellent year for action fans, with loads of comic-book adaptations heading our way and some of our favourite action stars and directors with new films. Plus I'm sure there will be a load of newcomers waiting to knock our socks off!
